The cave hippies of La Gomera come from all over Europe. They are all united by the shared desire for a simple existence in harmony with the nature. And to fulfill this dream, they have left their old lives behind.

They live in caves near the ocean – without electricity and water, without material possessions. Far away from civilization, they have created a world of their own.

But the dream world they aspire for is under threat. For decades, the government of La Gomera left the dropouts alone – but now it’s cracking down more and more on the illegal dwellings.
