Quinten is almost two years old. He spends half of the week with his two mothers, Gabriella and Marianne, and the other half with his two fathers, Frank and Steven. The two same-sex couples initially got to know each other via the Internet. They now share custody of Quinten. The film, which takes a close look at the everyday life of the extended family, presents unique insight into the European social debate surrounding the recognition and equal status of alternative family planning.
