RE: Sunday Soldiers – Poland’s Civilians Arm Themselves

Ever since the Ukraine crisis, fear of a possible Russian invasion has been mounting in Poland. Now, after work tens of thousands of men and women exchange their overalls, suits and ties, and high-heels for olive-green combat fatigues and train for the worst case: to defend their homeland. Arte Re: visited the High Tatras and the Lesser Poland city of Lublin to learn more about the voluntary mobilization of the civilian population.
