STUNDE NULL – The Art Movement ZERO

In 1958, the artists Otto Piene and Heinz Mack lay the groundwork for something that was to go down in history as one of the greatest avant-garde art movements of the 20th century: ZERO. The aim of the ZERO movement was to start, aesthetically and ideologically, “from scratch”. The puristic aesthetics of the movement revolutionised the contemporary identity of art. Even today, ZERO still has a lasting influence – as is revealed in this documentary.
